       Library PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pithoragarh established on 1979. After that period library is growing by rich collection of books day by day, presently library has 18,023 books educational CD/DVD’s in almost all subjects ranging from English/Hindi Fiction, non-fiction, reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries etc.in library. Library also have a rich collection of informative periodical / magazine such as current affair yearly, Cronical hindi, Drishti current Affairs today, Pratiyogita Darpan, CSR, beside these magazines some interesting magazines for primary children also purchased by Library such as Champak (Hindi / English) avishkaar, invention and many more. Library purchasing News Papers for making its students aware regarding the latest happening in the world.

                                                      Main Library Services



1. Book Lending Service
               Students and teachers can borrow books from the library for a limited time.

2. Reading Room Facility
               The library provides a quiet place for reading books, newspapers, and magazines.

3. Reference Service
             Dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and reference books are available for study and   research.
4. Digital Library Service
             Computers and internet facilities help students access e-books and online educational  materials.

5.Newspapers and Magazines
             Different newspapers and magazines are provided to increase general knowledge and   awareness of current events.

6. Career Guidance Materials
             Books related to careers and competitive examinations are also available in the library.

7. Reading Programs and Competitions
          Schools organize reading activities and book exhibitions to develop students’ interest in reading.
